So, you finally have one of America's most sought after kitchen gadgets, the Instant Pot. It promises to cook a full dinner in a quarter of the time. The thought of having a home-cooked meal on the table by 6:30 is pure magic for any busy household. But there it is, sitting on your counter staring you down. The Instant Pot can be intimidating, but Chef Tanji is ready to demystify this incredibly helpful tool by showing you a few tricks he uses to make his famished wife perfectly balanced meals.
We will be making the following dishes:

Location: The Monkeypod Jam Shop, 2-3687 Kamualii HWY, Next to the Lawai Post Office
Workshop Includes: Hands on instruction, recipes and the opportunity to enjoy a heavy sampling of the class' creations.
Chef Stephen Tanji, earned his culinary degree from Le Cordon Bleu, Portland campus, where he was classically trained in French cuisine. He returned to his father's home island of Kauai to cook for the Grand Hyatt Resort and Spa and later Roy's, Poipu. Chef Stephen had the opportunity to work under 7 Star Michelin, Chef Jean Georges Vongrichten during the opening of Kauai Grill at the St. Regis, Princeville. He is an animated chef, full of useful tools and hints for the home cook.
Dress Code: Please wear long pants and toe covered shoes.
Tools: Please bring a cutting board and kitchen knife if you are able.
Workshops are non-refundable. Once registered, please find someone to fill your seat if you are unable to attend.
