This is a Hands On Workshop
Date/Time: Saturday, June 10th, 2017, 5:00-8pm
Location: The Monkeypod Jam Shop, 2-3687 Kamualii HWY, Next to the Lawai Post Office
Workshop Includes: Learn how to make wholesome treats that will make your pooch jump for joy! Fillers and chemicals are used in most commercial dog treats and food that can cause allergies and health problems. Jan will share how to create nutritionally balanced biscuits and food for your favorite four legged friend. At the end of the evening you will have an abundance of edible rewards to take home in your own doggy bag.
Pupus, spritzers and a vegetarian dinner will be served.
Jan Woo is the owner and founder of Kauai's Barkaroo Bakery. Barkaroo was established in 1999 and is a family owned and operated wholesale bakery that creates delicious, freshly baked treats for dogs, cats, and horses.
Proudly based in Kapaa, Hawaii Barkaroo is committed to using natural ingredients, grown by the farmers and gardeners of Kauai, Hawaii.
Our tasty treats are each made with great care, mixed, rolled and then baked slowly and long to preserve flavors and nutrients.
Barkaroo was born out of the love of our dogs: Marlene and Rory and is dedicated to promoting awareness of pet care, health and safety issues and all those groups committed to making this world a better place for pets and their owners.
Dress Code: Please wear long pants and toe covered shoes.
Tools: Please bring a cutting board and kitchen knife if you are able.
BYOW: This is a Bring Your Own Wine event. We will gladly open and pour your glass at no cost.
Workshops are non-refundable. Once registered, please find someone to fill your seat if you are unable to attend.
