Persian Dolmehs Workshop: September 15th

Explore new ways of enjoying Kauai-grown herbs and vegetables by way of traditional Persian cuisine. Harmonious Roots founder, Kimya Sadaghiani will be teaching us how to make her family's favorite Dolmeh. She will be sharing their diverse cultural background and seasonal versatility. Kimya will use Kauai collards to wrap the baghali polo filled dolmeh. The Dolmeh are vegan and will be served with both vegan and vegetarian sides. We look forward to cooking with you!

Location: The Monkeypod Jam Shop, 2-3687 Kamualii HWY, Next to the Lawai Post Office

Kimya Sadaghiani, With a fiery passion for her Persian heritage deeply rooted in her as a child, Kimya began Harmonious Roots - a culinary tribute to her maman joon (grandmother) honoring traditional Persian cuisine and the freshest ingredients sourced entirely from Kauai farms. Local growers and Kauai's spirit, inspire Kimya to substitute imported ingredients found in traditional dishes with Kauai produce honoring the island's seasonality, while being readily available to everyone, recreating a harmonious blend of unique flavors.

Dress Code: Please wear long pants and toe covered shoes.

Tools: Please bring a cutting board and kitchen knife if you are able.

BYOW: This is a Bring Your Own Wine event. We will gladly open and pour your glass at no cost.

Workshops are non-refundable. Once registered, please find someone to fill your seat if you are unable to attend.
